It connects unique local businesses and creative talent with nearby shoppers—helping people discover what’s available locally before turning to large e-commerce sites. Around empowers small businesses with the digital tools they need to compete online, while giving shoppers an easy way to explore what’s around them.

Since launching just two weeks ago, the app has received enthusiastic feedback and growing support for local shopping. While we’ve started in NYC, anyone in the U.S. can download the app to help us identify new areas to expand next.
